Visual identities are often generic, noisy, or disconnected from the quiet, meditative ritual that matcha represents. The challenge was to create a brand that embodies mindfulness, simplicity, and heritage — while remaining contemporary and market-ready.

Solution

Zencha Matcha was designed to feel like a pause in a fast-moving world. Drawing inspiration from Zen philosophy, the Ensō circle became the core visual symbol — representing balance, imperfection, and intention. I developed a minimal, monochrome identity that pairs hand-brushed aesthetics with modern typography, and packaging that invites touch, breath, and ritual.
